This letter confirms on May 22, 2026 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA26-33 for the property addressed 318 Ruth Street, legally described as Block
6, Lot 3, D. E. Box Addition, City of Grapevine to the Grapevine Historic Preservation
Ordinance 91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended, for the
following:
1. Installation of an aluminum patio cover over the existing back concrete patio;
as per the attached photos with the condition that a Permit is obtained from the City of
Grapevine Building Department.
An approved Certi_ icate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is ! is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 8 .410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
