This letter confirms on June 2, 2026 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA26-36 for the property addressed 403 South Main Street, legally described as
Block 18, Lot 9 & 10 portion with exemption land and 2nd floor, City of Grapevine to the
Grapevine Historic Preservation Ordinance 91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of
Ordinances), as amended, for the following:
1. On the front of the building relocate three bronze historic plaques from the south
pilaster to the pilaster left of the entrance door of the Masonic Lodge stairway;
2. Install a new wall plaque, an aluminum enclosed bulletin board, on the front of the
building in the former location of the bronze historic plaques;
as per the attached drawings with the condition that a Permit is obtained from the City of
Grapevine Building Department.
An approved Ce
rtificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permitis notrequired. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 10.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
