This letter confirms on June 9, 2026 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA26-31 for the property addressed 852 East Worth Street, legally described as
Block 8, Lot 8, DE Box Addition, City of Grapevine to the Grapevine Historic Preservation
Ordinance 91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended, for the
following:
1. Replace the insulated glazing units (IGU) on the six (6) original bay aluminum
windows on the front fagade due to broken windowpanes and leaking air seals.
The original aluminum window frames will remain.
As per the submitted application and photos with the conditions the glazing color matches
as closely as possible, to other window's glazing colors and that a Permit is obtained
from the City of Grapevine Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit ',,is. / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
