In December of 2025, I added another position to the Jack County Constable's Office due to the workload which increased when the Sheriff's Office forwarded all civil process to my Office. The Commissioner's Court voted to move my part time deputy to full time but would not go so far as to approve another vehicle. I assigned my patrol unit to my Deputy while I have been using my personal vehicle. The Sheriff's Office was asked if they had any spare units that we could use, to which they said they did not have any. That led me to reach out to find other ways to make up the patrol unit deficit we have right now. If awarded a patrol unit, that unit would be put into service for the Jack County Constable's Office as a front-line unit. It would be used for law enforcement activities as approved by the Jack County Constable's policies.
