This letter confirms on March 30, 2017 Historic Preservation staff approved with

conaitions #CA17-42 for the property addressed 821 East Worth Street, legally
described as Block. 5 Lot. 13, D. E. Box Addition, City of, Grapevine, Texas. The
following was approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness. -
1) Replace existing window on rear elevation with a double 3 )-0)) x 4)-0
window unit in new bedroom;
2) Replace rear entry door with a 28)) x 4'-0" window;
3) Replace aluminum sliding window with a fixed glass 41-0)) x 37-0
window;
4) Replace plywood and James Hardee siding along carport side of hous
with period appropriate #105 wood siding;
as per the attached plan with the condition(s) a building permit is obtained
from the Building Department.
A Certifitp of Appropriateness is not an approved Bu"Ild'Ing Permit and a

Owner is remodeling the interior of the house and 'intends to add
replace certain windows as part of the project. Specifically:
in1) Replace existing 4"0*'x TO11 new rear bedroom with a double
3'0-" x 4`0" unit.
2) Replace one rear entry door with a 28 Il x 4'0" window
3) Replace slider with a fixed glass 4'0"
Windows will be aluminum construction (consistent with existing
windows) and clear pane. Frames will be almond in color.
Additionally, owner intends to replace plywood and hardibacker siding
along carport side of the house with era approiprii'ate pine 105 siding.
