SUBJECT: PURCHASE OF A 2026 CHEVROLET SILVERADO
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider approval for the purchase of a 2026 Chevrolet
Silverado for replacement from Huffines Chevrolet for the Water
Department.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the Utility Enterprise Fund (Water) for a total
amount not to exceed $44,760.
BACKGROUND: This purchase is for one 2026 Chevrolet Silverado for the Water
Department to replace a total loss of damaged unit #30504. Staff has
received $32,000 in insurance proceeds to support the replacement.
The Water, Fleet and Purchasing staff reviewed for departmental
specification compliance and pricing and determined that the contract
would provide the best product and pricing for meeting the needs of the
City.
Staff recommends approval.
