GRAPEVINE HOUSING AUTHORITY OFFICE 131 STARR PLACE, GRAPEVINE, TEXAS CALL TO ORDER REGULAR MEETING CITIZEN COMMENTS 1. Any person who is not scheduled on the agenda may address the Board of Commissioners under Citizen Comments or on any other agenda item by completing a Citizen Appearance Request form with the Executive Director. A member of the public may address the Board of Commissioners regarding an item on the agenda either before or during the Board's consideration of the item, upon being recognized by the Chair of the Board or upon the consent of the Board. Citizens will have 3 minutes to address the Board of Commissioners. In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Board is restricted in discussing or taking action during Citizen Comments. Report of Public Housing Activity and Issues through May 26, 2026 NEW BUSINESS 3. Consideration of the minutes from the April 23, 2026, meeting and take any necessary action. 4. Consideration and approval of Resolution No. 25-02 to authorize the Executive Director to work with hiring agencies, if necessary, to fill the open Public Housing Assistant position. 5. Consideration and approval of Resolution No. 25-03 to authorize the Executive Director to open an account with INSCO for maintenance parts. 6. Consideration and acceptance of the April 2026 monthly financial statements and take necessary action. Item #2'Report from the Executive Director (Informational Dn|g A. Rent Delinquencv and Information Sheet The Executive Director reported $othe Board onthe rent delinquencies, number ofempty units, work orders and statistical information for the waiting list for Public Housing through May 26, 2026. B. Capital Funds Report and Work inpmneo The Executive Director reported huthe Board onthe current Capital Funds and corresponding projects. Capital Fund year 2026 funds are now available to be spent. C. Report onPublic HnuonnActivbv'andIssues The Executive Director updated the Board that anEnergy Audit had taken place May 5.2O20.and the housing authority passed the audit. NEW BUSINESS Item #3-Consideration pfthe minutes ofApril 23 2028.meetinoand take neoaeaa'vaction. The Board was provided with the minutes from April 23, 2026, meeting for approval. Motion was made hoapprove the April 23.2D2O.minutes oopresented. Motion: Moxom Second: Rhodes -Cantu Ayes: Tmager.[NoHugh. Woodward, Rhodan_Cantu.and N\oxom Nays: None Approved: 5'0 Item #4 -Consideration and aorroval of Resolution No. 26-02 to authorize the Executive Director to work with hiring poencies if necessary to fill the open Public Housing Assistant position. The Executive Director presented the Board with recruiting options to fill the three open positions. The Board had suggestions of ways to fill the positions. Motion was made to approve Resolution 26-02 to approve the Executive Director to.work with hiring agencies to fill the open positions. Motion: McHugh Second: Rhodes -Cantu Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Woodward, Rhodes -Cantu, and Moxom Nays: None Approved: 5-0 Item #5 - Consideration and aLn,roval of Resolution No. 26-03 to apurove the Executive Director to open an account with INSCO for maintenance 1.)arts. The Executive Director explained the Grapevine Housing Authority was using the City of Grapevine's INSCO account and needed to open an account for the housing authority. Motion was made to approve Resolution 26-03 to approve the Executive Director to open an account with INSCO for maintenance parts. Motion: Woodward Second: Moxom Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Woodward, Rhodes -Cantu, and Moxom Nays: None Approved: 5-0 Item #6 - Consideration and acceptance of the April 2026 monthly financial statements and take necessa_a action. The Executive Director presented the Board with an electronic copy of the April 2026 financial statements for their review. Commissioner Woodward reviewed the financial statements and reported he found them to be acceptable Motion was made to approve the December 2025, January, February, and March 2026 financial statements Motion: Woodward Second: Moxom Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Woodward, Rhodes -Cantu, and Moxom Nays: None Approved: 5-0 Item #6 - Report by the Ex Officio member of the Senior Citizens Advisory Board on April 2026, meeting Teri Rhodes -Cantu provided an update on the Senior Citizens Advisory Board meeting. GHA was asked to inform the residents of Mayor Tate's Golden Jubilee celebration activities during Main Street Fest; especially the community picnic on Sunday. No action was taken.
