Citizen Comments Any person who is not scheduled on the agenda may address the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board under Citizen Comments or on any other agenda item by completing a Citizen Appearance Request form with the staff. A member of the public may address the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board regarding an item on the agenda either before or during the Board’s consideration of the item, upon being recognized by the Chairman or upon the consent of the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board is restricted in discussing or taking action during Citizen Comments. A prayer and moment of silence led by Christian Ross. Approval of inutes A motion was made to approve the February 19, 2026 meeting minutes. Motion: Robertson, Member Second: Light, Member Ayes: Light, Robertson, Readicker, Fenton, Copeland, Stephens, Ross, McDowell Nays: 0 Abstention: 1- Approved: 8-0-1 Citizen Comments None New Business The following Adopt -An -Area renewal agreements were reviewed: USCG Auxiliary 5-11 Grapevine. A motion was made to approve the reviewed Adopt -An -Area agreements. 1 Motion: Stephens, Member Second: Fenton, Member Ayes: Light, Robertson, Readicker, Fenton, Copeland, Stephens, Ross, McDowell Nays: 0 Abstention: 1 Approved: 8-0-1 Presentation Steven Jones, Senior Business Engagement Manager, provided a presentation on CCoT 2025. GCISD Student & Board Liaison Update No in -person or emailed report provided by Grapevine High School. No in -person or emailed provided by Colleyville Heritage High School. No in -person or emailed provided by GCISD. City Council Chris Coy provided an update following the Tuesday City Council Meeting. Planning and Zoning approved the expansion of the Grapevine Chick-Fil-A parking lot and drive-thru area. City Council approved the CMAR for The REC. Routine meeting otherwise. Parks and Recreation Updates Chris Smith provided an update on the Parks and Recreation Department. He presented the recommended and approved CMAR, Clark Contractors, that was presented to City Council. Chris also shared that GPARD continues to move forward with the Master Plan. Trent Kelley provided an update on the Parks and Recreation Department. GBS Opening Day reminder for Saturday, March 28. The final steps for Minnow Loop are being completed, and it will be ready in approximately one month. This area was not intended to be used for Opening Day. GPARD has submitted their Gold Medal application through NRPA. Membership Appreciation Day is on Monday, April 13. Intentional Pollinator Garden program has been approved by Council. Committee will be formed and curriculum will be created for residents that are interested in participating. CPAC will be at the Gaylord and city leaders are supporting community to ensure minimal irripact. Adjourn Christian Ross adjourned the meeting at 6:50PM. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting.
