Farm report for the month with five interpretive programs and 232 attending, bringing the fiscal
year to date at 61$ participants. Farm Manager Jim Lauderdale reported the Spring Into Nash
(SPIN)steering committee was meeting and planning for the tasks needed for each activity.

confirmed;
as a new attraction, the Denton County Tractor Club will be displaying several antique tractors.
Save the date cards have been mailed out to the membership and a stack was given to each
board member to distribute.

Sabota for the Grapevine Courier, Melva said it was also printed in the Southlake newspaper.

suggested a "Farm Boy and Farm Girl" level to go along with the current storied programs.
Melva asked the Membership Committee to move forward to develop the concept for the annual
calendar proposed by staff member Sharon Heard-Cross. The calendar itself would be a
tangible benefit for renewals and new memberships; she suggested it should speak advocacy
for the Foundation, listing inside the current board members, monies brought in, farm
programs, the Palace Arts Center and Christmas Parade; with no advertising, but to list donors_
Janet Perkins announced for the first time in five years, a grant matching program with a value
up to $350,000. Funds for the Farm could be sought to record their programs to use online and
train volunteers or to relate to an "ap" (application)to tour the Farm.
