OLD BUSINESS
2. To review the office remodel, that was approved at the January 28, 2016 Board
meeting. If the funds, plans meet board standards to discuss and proceed with
plans.
NEW BUSINESS
3. Consideration of the minutes from the January 26, 2017 meeting and take
any necessary action.
4. Consideration and acceptance of the monthly financial statements for
December 2016 and January 2017, and take any necessary action.
5. Consideration and discuss new guidelines from HUD on physical
inspection of site. Exterior of site concerning repairs to the brick and mortar;
and take any necessary action.
6. Report from the Senior Advisory Board meeting held February 7, 2017.

The Board of Commissioners of the Grapevine Housing Authority met in Regular
Session on this the 16th day of March 2017 in the Conference Room of
Grapevine Housing Authority, with the following members present to wit:
Jane Everett Chair
Linda Troeger Vice Chair
Karen Rice Finance Officer
Ethel Anderson Resident Commissioner
Constituting a quorum, with the following also present:
Kim McGilvray
Duff O'Dell
Greg Jordan
Executive Director
City Council Liaison

Chairman Everett called the meeting to order at 4:50 p.m.

REGULAR MEETING
Item #1 Report of the Executive Director (Informational Only)
A. Rent Delinquency and Information Sheet
The Executive Director reported to the Board on the rent delinquencies,
number of empty units, work orders and statistical information for the
waiting list for Public Housing through February 28, 2017,
B. Capital Funds Report and work in progress
The Board was provided with the monthly Capital Funds Report including
on-going projects and a spreadsheet of expenditures for the insurance
claim project.
C. Report of Housing Activity and Issues through March 1, 2017
The Board received a report on Public Housing activity and issues through
March 1, 2017.

D. Minutes from Residential Advisory Board Meeting
The Board was provided minutes from the Resident Advisory Board
Meetings held on January 26, 2017 and February 17, 2017.

Item #2 To Review the Office Remodel that was approved at the January

Item #3 Consideration of the minutes from the January 26, 2017 meeting
The Board was provided minutes from the January 26, 2017 meeting for
approval.
Commissioner Rice moved and Commissioner Troeger seconded to approve the
minutes as presented.
Ayes: Everett, Troeger, Rice & Anderson
Nays: None
Absent: McHugh
Motion passed.
Item #4 Consideration and acceptance of the monthly financial statements
for December 2016 and January 2017.
The Board was provided electronic financial statements for the months of
December 2016 and January 2017. Commissioner Rice reviewed the financial
statements and found them to be acceptable
Commissioner Rice moved and Commissioner Troeger seconded to accept the
monthly financial statements for December 2016 and January 2017.
Ayes: Everett, Troeger, Rice & Anderson
Nays: None
Absent: McHugh
Motion passed.
Item #5
Consideration and discuss new guidelines from HUD on physical
inspection of site. Exterior of site concerning repairs to the brick
and mortar
The Board was provided verbal information regarding the new guidelines from
HUD related to the physical inspection of housing sites. It was explained that
REAC inspectors will be focusing on the condition of the brick, mortar, sidewalk
repairs and the physical appearance of other repairs. It was also explained that
significant points may be lost if the repairs are not done properly.
Qualified contractors were sought to make the repairs according to the
requirements of HUD. A qualified contractor was found and a reasonable bid
was offered.
Commissioner Rice moved and Commissioner Troeger second to accept the bid
from Randy Concrete & Remodel.

Item #6 Report from the Senior Advisory Board meeting held February 7,
2017
The Board was provided a report from Commissioner Troeger who is the
appointed Ex Officio member that represents Grapevine Housing Authority.
No action taken

Commissioner Troeger moved and Commissioner Anderson seconded that the
meeting be adjourned.

Nays: None

Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
