SUBJECT: OCTOBER 6 CITY COUNCIL MEETING TIME CHANGE
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider changing the start time of the October 6, 2026,
City Council meeting to 5:30 pm to allow the City Council to attend
neighborhood National Night Out events.
FUNDING SOURCE:
BACKGROUND: Traditionally, the City of Grapevine observes National Night Out on the
first Tuesday of October. Celebrations are held in neighborhoods
throughout the City. Changing the City Council meeting start time on
October 6, from 7:30 pm to 5:30 pm, gives Council Members time to
attend these neighborhood events.
Staff recommends approval.
