SUBJECT: PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FISCAL YEAR 2026 - 2027 ANNUAL
OPERATING BUDGET
RECOMMENDATION: Conduct a public hearing relative to the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 annual
operating budget.
FUNDING SOURCE: N/A
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to the Charter of the City of Grapevine, Texas, Section 907, a
public hearing on the annual budget shall be held to allow all interested
persons to be heard for or against any item or the amount of any item
therein contained. The public hearing shall commence on September 1,
and final action on the budget shall be taken thereafter. A copy of the
proposed FY2027 budget summary is attached hereto.
The budget contains fund expenditures in the following amounts:
General Fund $93,898,860.
Permanent Capital Maintenance Fund $5,216,900.
Debt Service Fund $15,811,686.
Stormwater Drainage Fund $2,513,760.
Crime Control & Prevention District Fund $28,723,056.
Lake Parks Special Revenue Fund $3,467,010.
4-B /Trinity Metro Fund $15,900,000.
Economic Development Fund $6,542,195.
Convention & Visitors Bureau Fund $30,377,583.
Convention & Leisure Incentives Fund $5,783,229.
Utility Enterprise Fund (Water) $46,614,551.
Lake Enterprise Fund (Golf) $7,554,277.
The FY 2027 proposed budget is available for viewing on the City's
website, and at the City Secretary's Office at City Hall.
