GRAPEVINE CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION
DISTRICT CANVASSING AND DECLARING THE RESULTS
OF THE MAY 2, 2026 SPECIAL ELECTION; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, a special election was duly held in the City of Grapevine, Texas on thtzt,
2nd day of May, 2026 to continue with the Crime Control and Prevention District for 2*
years was • held; and
WHEREAS, voters were given the option to vote for or against Proposition 21
"Whether the •- Crime Control and Prevention District should • continued fo
twenty (20) years and the Crime Control and Prevention District sales and use tax shoul
be continued for twenty (20) years."; and I
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Grapevine Crime Control and Prevention
District met to canvass the results of the special election on the 13th day of May 2026;

WHERAS, the canvass showed the following votes

WHEREAS, all constitutional and statutory prerequisites to the approval of this
resolution have been met, including but not limited to the ••` Meetings Act.
11, NOW, THEREFORE, •i IT RESOLVED BY THE GRAPEVINE CRIME CONTROM
Section 1. That all matters stated hereinabove are found to be true and correO
,?nd are incorporated herein by reference as if copied in their entirety.
• 2. That the Board of Directors finds the results of the special election
as set forth above are correct and the canvass of votes is hereby approved.
Section 3. Proposition A is hereby declared to have succeeded in garnering
sufficient votes for passage.
Section 4. Effective Date. This resolution and order shall be in full force anio
effect from and after its passage, and it is accordingly so ordered.

DISTRICT BOARD OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS ON THIS THE 13th day
