We are of the opinion the minimum 4'-0" dimension from the existing house foundation to the inside of the pool structure beam along the north side of the house is adequate. The maximum 5'-0" depth along the inside the pool perimeter wall adjacent to the house foundation does not intersect the house foundation bearing envelope and therefore will not adversely affect the existing house foundation. Likewise, we are of the opinion the minimum 2'-0" dimension from the existing patio foundation to the inside of the pool sun bench structure beam along the north side of the house is adequate. The maximum 6" depth along the inside the sun bench adjacent to the house foundation does not intersect the house foundation bearing envelope and therefore will not adversely affect the existing patio foundation.
