BACKGROUND INFORMATION Six conditional use permits have been approved on this site. The early conditional use permits involve the possession, storage, retail sale and on -premise consumption of alcoholic beverages (beer, wine and mixed drinks) in association with restaurants that are no longer in business. In 1998 CU98-06 (Ord. No. 98-39) was approved the placement of a 20 -foot multi -tenant pole sign along W. D. Tate Avenue. The Site Plan Review Committee approved CU01-14 in March 2001, allowed for the expansion of the bar area in Esparza's Too. CU01-45 (Ord. No. 01-72) was approved by Council on September 18, 2002, revising the approved floor plan of the Esparza's Too suite to accommodate a new restaurant, Caramba's Grill. This current application is requesting to update the facade of the building with new materials thus improving the appearance of the building. The applicant is also proposing to move the dumpster position out of the fire lane located behind the building to a location on the west side of the building.
