GRAPEVINE SENIOR CITIZENS ADVISORY BOARD
August 2, 2002
The Grapevine Senior Citizens Advisory Board met on August 2, 2002 at the
Senior Activity Center.
The following members were present:
Dr. Edith Pewitt — Chair Doris Waite
Dorothy Kritz - V. Chair R. Bruce Walters
Miriam Bahner - Secretary
Others Present:
Linda Gregory
Ted Ware
Vivienne Douglas, a board member came in to say goodbye as she is moving
out of the Cr Edith welcomed everyone to the meeting.
The minutes of the previous meeting were considered and approved.
We discussed the possibility of getting post cards with pictures of landmarks
in Grapevine to sell to the public. They could be put in the various public
buildings like the Heritage Center, etc.
We had a Post Fair Discussion. Everyone thought the food and drinks were
very satisfactory. The entertainment was good despite a few changes that
had to be made. In the future, everyone needs to have a mike when groups
are performing together.
There was a discussion about crime. It is important that we are aware of
what is going on around our neighbors property and report anything
suspicious.
There will be no meeting in September.
The next meeting will be held on October 4, 2002 at 2 P.M. at the Grapevine
Senior Activities Center.
The meeting was adjourned at 3.05.
Respectfully submitted,
c.
Miriam A. Bahner
Secretary
