There was a discussion on the need for additional help for the Senior Movers Program.
It was decided that we don't want to be the pilot for the Over 50 Do You Know project as
presented by Charles Cole at the previous meeting.
It was moved, seconded and passed that we do not need Email for this project.
Flyers can be put in commodities packets and with Meals on Wheels. Announcements
can be put in newspapers and the city newsletter to get information out to the seniors
rather than the pilot project.
Vanessa gave her report on the Senior Movers Program. She said they need more
volunteers and they need a step for the minivan to assist handicap people getting on and
off the van.
An open house will be held on Friday, May 30 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the
Senior Center.
Bruce suggested having the Silver Haired Legislature at a future meeting.
