Marian Nicastro asked if there was someone who could help with the flowerbeds at the
Housing Authority and there were several suggestions.
c. Senior Activities Center update — Kaye Grayson
Kaye reported that the health and fitness day went very well. There were about 25 vendors
who participated and supplied door prizes, and an estimated 200 participants, which was a
good increase from last year. One of the attractions was a group that matches pets with
seniors and also helps with unwanted pets.
Kaye reported that FOGSAC had donated $800 and the Center was able to purchase
kitchen supplies, utility carts and a microwave. The Rotary Club donated a 40" HDTV with a
DVDNCR player , which the Center has been able to put to good use. Kaye reminded the
Board that Camp Wrinkle Ranch starts next week with only 4 openings available out of the
maximum of 24 spots.
The Center is having around 50 people for daily lunches, and water aerobics has started at
Dove Pool and classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday.
