have to be placed in assisted living facilities and nursing homes because they have
become too physically and/or mentally impaired to take care of themselves at the SAC.
This is an issue that staff deals with on a regular basis and the staff is in constant
contact with the family to help and assist in any way for the family to be able to handle
these very difficult and emotional decisions.
Dick said that between the last meeting and today, Kaye asked FOGSAC to help with
storage problem. 3 filing cabinets and rack will be delivered tomorrow along with
shelving, close to $700 worth, to improve storage closet.
Dick alerted those members of the Advisory Board with terms expiring this year that they
will need to apply to renew.
Chris said Parks and Recreation playbook is out.
Also the United Way came to City Council meeting to address senior isolation issues.
