HISTORY OF TRACT AND SURROUNDING AREA: The subject property and all the surrounding properties were rezoned in the 1984 City Rezoning from "I-1" Light Industrial to "PID" Planned Industrial Development. The subject property, the property to the east, and the property to the north were all rezoned in 1996 to "CC" Community Commercial. Conditional Use request CU97-24 was approved on the subject property allowing the development of a Comfort Inn and the establishment of a Planned Commercial Center for the Bethel Center Addition.
