To date the work has still not received a final inspection. Please be advised that the ordinance adopted by the City of Grapevine requires all work requiring a permit to be inspected. An inspection was performed on 9/26/14 and was turned down because the fence exceeded 8 feet. Another inspection was attempted on 3/25/16, no rear yard access was provided and was unable to complete inspection. Equipment installation or construction work that does not comply with codes and ordinances can cause damage, injury, and death. Our inspectors look closely to ensure that all codes are met and the installation is safe to the best of their knowledge. Until such time as we issue an inspection approval for your work, we cannot confirm that there are no safety violations. Should you refuse to allow inspection as required by city ordinance, this refusal will be documented and placed in the permanent records for your property.
