Hello Ryan & Joe:
I spoke with Mr. Triplett, the Plan Reviewer, for the Courtyards at Mustang Site Permit. The following bullet points are
an overview of our discussion:
1) 1 am attaching the 5-1.01 plan approved by the BZA and on file with the City -- IT APPEARS THE MODEL PLAN RYAN
WAS PROVIDED FOR HIS DESIGN IS NOT THE FINAL VERSION APPROVED (THE NEW PARKING LOT HAD BOTH
INTERMEDIATE AND END ISLANDS ON THE S-1.01 PLAN ON FILE WITH THE CITY).
2) 1 requested the use of dashed line around the new parking area on sheet
S-1.01 with a note referencing "All work within the area to be performed per sheet C-3." Conversely, sheet C-3 will
reference "See sheet S-1.01 for all work to be performed on the entire property outside of the new parking lot and
immediate adjacent area shown on this plan."
3) All other plan review comments need to be addressed as requested.
4) The landscape islands on sheet C-3 at the west side of the new lot are narrow -- islands are to be 8 or 9 ft wide per
Mr. Triplett. I said I would find out why the island width was less, and we will make this correction if possible without
compromising the parking stall addition or encroachment into the landscape buffer.

The Engineer is currently revising the plan per the plan review comments, but did request clarification on the C-3 vs. 5-
1.01 comments. Can sheet
5-1.01 be utilized as the overall site plan showing landscape islands to be added property wide and reference sheet C-3

As per our discussion earlier today of the subject line project, the attached 4 PDF files are the drawings that are required
for the review process.
Please note that the reason Sheet C-3 does not show the 4 islands returns on the furthest east end of the new parking
lot, as shown on Sheet S-1.01, is because of engineering design for constructional purposes. The 4 tress that would have
been in each of the 4 islands will be planted within the 10 -foot wide landscape buffer that adjoins the parking lot area in
question.
