CITY OF GRAPEVINE
The Board of Zoning Adjustments of the City of Grapevine,
Texas, met in Regular Session on this the 18th day of
September, 1980 at 7:00 P.M., in the Conference Room, 413
Main Street, with the following persons present to -wit:
James Buckner
Chairman
Gerald Thompson
Member
Charles Cox
Member
Doug Lamb
Member
constituting a quorum with Members Jesse Woods, and Jerry
Spencer absent, with Secretary, Susan Jennings in attendance.
CALL TO ORDER
Chairman James Buckner called the meeting to order.
BZA APPLICATION 80-9, Chris Lott Homes, Inc.
The first order of business to come before the Board of Zoning
Adjustments Committee was the consideration of BZA Application
80-9, submitted by Chris Lott Homes, Inc.
An adjoining property owner, Ms. Virginia Williams was present
and voiced no objection to the proposed request.
Following a brief presentation by Mr. Lott, Member Charles Cox
made a motion to approve the variance. The motion was seconded
by Member Gerald Thompson and prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes : Buckner, Thompson, Cox, Lamb
Nays : None
Absent : Woods, Spencer
BZA APPLICATION 80-10, William Wright
The next order of business to come before the Board of Zoning
14fiAAgfi4 Adjustments Committee was the consideration of BZA Application
up 80-10, submitted by William Wright.
Mr. Wright was not present, however, Chairman Buckner stated
he had driven by the property in question, and would recommend
approval of the application as submitted.
Member Gerald Thompson made a motion to approve the variance.
The motion was seconded by Charles Cox and prevailed by the
following vote:
Ayes : Buckner, Thompson, Cox, Lamb
Nays : None
Absent : Woods, Spencer
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Commission,
Member Doug Lamb made a motion, seconded by Member Gerald Thompson
to adjourn. All in attendance voted aye.

Corrections
(a) It was noted that the applicant, (Chris Lott Homes,
Inc.) was requesting a seven foot (7') variance in
the twenty-five foot (25') rear yard requirement
on Lot Nine, Block Two, Parra Linda Estates, (2849
Mesa Verde, Grapevine, Texas).
(b) Applicant William D. Wright was requesting a 112"
variance in the thirty foot (30') front yard re-
quirement and a 116" variance in the fifteen foot
(15') corner lot side yard requirement on Lot 8,
Block 18, Oak Creek Estates, or 2941 Ridgewood
Drive.
