MINUTES OF THE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS MEETING
MARCH 23, 1976
Present: Kaker, Cox, Harper, Deacon
Absent: Wright, Taylor
Acting Chairman Harold Kaker called the meeting to order at 6:40 P.M.
This meeting was to consider the application recessed from the
previous evening. Mr. Harper stated that this was an old area of
the city and that there were fences in this area that were on
corner lots and that Mrs. Cox should have the same rights and
privileges as others in this addition.
There was then a discussion involving the heighth of the fence.
It was the general consensus of those present that the standard
cyclone fence was forty-two (42) inches in heighth. Mrs. Cox
stated that she was willing to construct a fence of that heighth
and that she would be condusive to that approval. Mr. Harper
stated that Mrs. Cox would have to keep vines off the fence near
the corner of the street intersection.
Floyd Deacon made a motion to grant the application as requested
except that a forty-two (42) inch cyclone fence instead of a forty-
eight (48) inch fence be constructed for the personsal protection
of Mrs. Cox because of the apartment complex across the street.
A. J. Harper seconded. All Ayes.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:55 P.M.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the o2 day of 1976
