This letter confirms on July 29, 2016 the Historic Preservation Commission approved with
conditions #CA16-72 for the property addressed 209 Austin Street, legally described as
Block: 101 Lot: 1-2 S Y2 LOT 1-2, College Heights Addition, Grapevine, Texas. The following
was approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness:
1) to construct fencing of board -beside -board, 1 x 6 cedar fencing, 8 feet high, in
the rear yard, 23 feet from the northeast corner of property; and along the north
side yard of property for 75 feet decreasing in height to six feet high near the
front of home; and
2) a four feet high iron fence on the south side between house and garage
as per the attached plans with the condition a building permit is obtained from the Building
Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved Building Permit and a
permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building Department at
817-410-3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
