This letter confirms on April 29, 2013, Historic Preservation staff approved with
conditions #CA13 -40 for the property addressed 235 Austin Street, legally
described as Block 105 Lot 14A, College Heights Addition, Grapevine, Texas. The
following was approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness:
1) to remove windows and replace with Semco wood aluminum clad, double
hung in color Canyon Trail;
2) redesign floating dormers on house and on the garage ( #CA12 -34);
3) remove front porch posts and replace with 6" x 6" wood posts;
4) replace house siding with B105 wood to match garage; and
5) paint with Sherwin Williams Historic the body Rockwood Red, the trim
Colonial Revival Stone and as an accent Tricolor Black
per the attached drawings and manufacturer's specification sheets with the
condition a permit is required from the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved Building
Permit and a permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's
Building Department at 817 -410 -3165 for information regarding permits.
