The property to the west was rezoned from "R -MF -1" Multi -Family District to "GU" Governmental Use District by zone change request Z94-07. The property to the south of the subject property was rezoned from "CB" Community Business to "HC" Highway Commercial District in the 1984 Citywide Rezoning. The property to the east was rezoned from "I-1" Light Industrial district to "CC" Community Commercial District in the 1984 Citywide Rezoning.
