ACTS OF THE 1993 TEXAS LEGISLATURE, THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT MEETING AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POSTED ON THIS THE 25TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1998 AT 5:00 P.M. SSI TANT DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT ER ICES/BUILDING OFFICIAL STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The Board of Zoning Adjustment for the City of Grapevine, Texas, met in regular session, October 5, 1998, at 6:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers, 200 South Main Street, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present: Carl Hecht Vice -Chairman Ery Meyer Secretary Russell Anderson Member Ron Cook 1 st Alternate constituting a quorum with Chairman, Randy Howell, Member Dennis Luers and 2"d Alternate, Kip Bruner, absent. Also present was the following City Staff: Scott Williams Assistant Director of Development Services/Building Official Gerrie Anderson Secretary CALL TO ORDER Vice Chairman, Carl Hecht, called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. NEW BUSINESS BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT CASE BZA98-33, HUGO A. GARDEA 221 AUSTIN STREET The first item of new business was for the Board of Zoning Adjustment to consider BZA98-33, submitted by Hugo A. Gardea for property located at 221 Austin Street, platted as proposed Lot 1 R, Block 103, College Heights Addition. The following requests were from Grapevine Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance 82-73: Section 15.G.1., R-7.5 Single Family District Regulations requires a thirty (30) foot front yard setback. The applicant requested a fifteen (15) foot variance to the required thirty (30) foot front yard setback. If approved, it would allow a fifteen (15) foot front yard setback. Section 15.F.2., R-7.5, Single Family District Regulations requires a minimum lot size of 7,500 square feet. Board of Zoning Adjustment 10/5/98 Mr. Hecht announced a motion was in order to table BZA98-33, at the applicant's request, to the November 2, 1998, meeting. Russell Anderson made the motion with a second by Ery Meyer, which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Hecht, Meyer, Anderson, Cook Nays: None Absent: Howell, Luers, Bruner Mr. Hecht announced that a motion was in order to table BZA98-34, at the applicant's request, to the November 2, 1998, meeting. Russell Anderson made the motion with a second by Ery Meyer, which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Hecht, Meyer, Anderson, Cook Nays: None Absent: Howell, Luers, Bruner MINUTES Next the Board of Zoning Adjustment considered the minutes of the September 14, 1998, meeting. Ery Meyer made a motion to approve the minutes, with corrections, for the . September 14, 1998, meeting. Russell Anderson seconded the motion, which prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Hecht, Meyer, Anderson, Cook Nays: None Absent: Howell, Luers, Bruner MISCELLANEOUS REPORTS/DISCUSSION Mr. Williams announced that an industrial project was underway at the corner of State Highway 114 and Dallas Road, Stacy's Furniture, to be located at 1900 S. Main Street, had been started, and a multi -story office building was planned for the northeast corner of Main Street and Vine Street. 1 , • Ery Meyer made a motion to adjourn.
