approved January 28, 2009.
Plea - se find enclosed an approved site plan set for your records. I have forwarded two
approved sets to the Building Inspection Division.
No site plan approval shall be valid fora period longerthan one (1) yearfrom the date such
approval is issued, unless a building permit is issued and construction is actually begun
within that period, and is thereafter diligently pursued to completion or an occupancy permit

The Contractor shall be responsible for submitting a copy of the bid
proposal for all public improvements to the City of Grapevine at the
pre- construction meeting. This proposal shall include unit costs,
quantities and amounts.

No water jetting is allowed for water, sanitary sewer and storm
drainage construction.

All trenches that are excavated to a depth in excess of five (5)
feet shall be excavated and maintained in a manner that meets all
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
Prior to the excavation and construction of the trench(es), the
Contractor shall be responsible for submitting two (2) trench safety
plans prepared by a Licensed Professional Engineer in accordance
with OSHA standards.

All embedment and backfill shall be wetted to approximate optimum
and compacted in twelve (12) inch lifts to 957. Standard
Proctor density. Density tests shall be obtained for each flve (5)
feet of depth and for each 100 lineal feet of trench or increment
thereof The Contractor shall be responsible for submitting a copy
of all geotechnical laboratory reports/test results to the City of
Grop e vin e.

The Contractor shall be responsible for contacting the City of
Grapevine Building Department at (817) 410-JOIO to request a Tree
Preservation Inspection prior to any work commencing on the site.
•
There shall be no filling in the floodplain or dumping within the City
of Grapevine without an executed "Fill" agreement,

"As -Built" record drawings.

The Contractor shall be responsible for providing erosion control in
accordance with the Erosion Control Plan prepared by the engineer
and Appendix F of the City of Grapevine's Code of Ordinances.

"The City of Grapevine's Construction Inspector overtime policy allows
the Contractor to work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through
Saturday. No work is allowed on Sundays. Overtime charges of $45
per hour shall be paid to the City by the Contractor for work
outside the normal work week (i 6. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday
through Friday). Saturday work requires a four (4) hour minimum
overtime charge, "
•
Each contractor within the proposed development shall guarantee
their work for a period of two (2) years after the date of final
acceptance by the City of al/ public improvements. Maintenance
bonds shall be in an amount equal to 25 percent of the
construction costs of the improvements within public right-of-way
or easements. This includes excavationlfill for public streets.
•
The City of Grapevine's Code of Ordinances shall be adhered to.
Special attention should be given to Appendix F, Erosion and
Sedimentation Control. Section F of this ordinance allows the
Director of Public Works to issue a "Stop -work order" for any
development, improvement, or construction which is in violation of
this ordinance.
All utility relocations will be done at the developer's expense.
