No apparent issues. They need to be careful that the overhang of the carport does not encroach into the
fire lane on the east side of the building.

The proposed site plan is unable to be approved. Please review the
comments below.
2. Please add case number SP12-15 to the lower right hand corner of
each sheet and the consecutive sheet numbers.
3. An alternative configuration for the proposed carport is
necessary due to an existing water line and water easement.
The carport is prohibited from encroaching into the easement
or covering the water line.. Please submit a new site plan with
an acceptable alternative. Please refer to the approved plat to
view the easement.
4. A minimum distance of 40 -feet is required between the proposed carport
and the existing office building. Please dimension the distance of the
proposed carport to the existing office building and to the north and east
property lines. The minimum required distance is 20 -feet and 25 -feet
to the north and east property lines respectively and 40 -feet to the
office building.
5. If the engineer who sealed the carport plans intends to inspect the work,
please instruct the engineer to provide a letter of on-site inspection to
Building Inspections. Please contact Allen Hunt at 817.410.3165 for any
questions about this comment.
6. Please note on the site plan the following:
• The carport shall be designed to withstand 1-90 wind speeds.
• No landscaping is being displaced as a result of the carport.
• The overhang of the carport will not encroach into any fire lane.
• The carport will meet the requirements of the 2006 International
Building Code.
