This letter confirms on May 18, 2018 the Historic Preservation Commission staff approved
with conditions #CA18-53 for the property addressed 702 East Northwest Street, legally
described as Block: 1, Lot: 2, Adams Addition, City of Grapevine Texas. The following was
approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness:
1. Construct a new 6 feet tall cedar fence; with cedar rails, metal posts enclosed
with wood and color of fence wood pre -stained brown with a passage gate on the
east side of the house;
2. Install cattle -style driveway gate with electric opener across driveway on the west
side of the house;
as per the attached plan and photos with the condition a permit be obtained from the
Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permitcs)/ is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
