This letter confirms on June 18, 2018 the Historic Preservation Commission staff approved
with conditions #CA18-68 for the property addressed 208 West Hudgins Street, legally
described as Block 14, Lot 19-21 less ROW Alley N BLK, City of Grapevine Texas. The
following was approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness:
1. Repair exterior siding and trim of building; fill and sand surfaces as
necessary;
2. Remove rotted wood in wall and soffit areas on front, side and rear walls of
the building;
3. Note: In triangular pediment above the front entrance, coordinate with the
Historic Preservation Officer any work to be done in the area of the mural
building sign;
4. Repaint exterior of building in the same exact colors on building with no
changes;
as per the attached photos with the conditions that a permit be obtained from the
Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit,/'is I is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817:410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
