The Board of Commissioners of the Grapevine Housing Authority held a public hearing and then met in Regular
Session on this the 28th day of June 2018 in the Conference Room of the Grapevine Housing Authority, with the
following members present to wit:

REGULAR MEETING - CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Troeger called the meeting to order at 4:35 p.m.
Item #2 Report of the Executive Director (Informational Only)
A. Rent Delinnuencv and Information Sheet
The Executive Director reported to the Board on the rent delinquencies, number of empty units, work orders
and statistical information for the waiting list for Public Housing through June 23, 2018.
B. Capital Funds Report and Work in Progress
The Executive Director reported to the Board there have been changes to the current Capital Funds and
corresponding projects. The Board was also informed the 2018 Capital Funds were now available. The
Executive Director updated the board on the hot water heater replacement project and explained that since
Longhorn Plumbing is on property they can install the budgeted 11 water heaters from the 2018 Capital
Funds. The formal approval will be conducted at the July meeting.
C. Report of Public Housing Activity and Issues
The Grapevine Housing Authority is participating in the Grapevine Police Department Multi -housing Crime
Free Program.
D. Minutes from the Resident Advisory Meetings held March 16 2018
The Board was provided the minutes from the May 18, 2018 Resident Advisory Board meeting and the
picnic June 8'^. Feedback from the picnic was, "It was the best picnic ever!"
NEW BUSINESS
Item #3 - Consideration of the minutes from the May 17. 2018 meeting and take any necessary action.
The Board was provided the minutes from the May 17, 2018 meeting for approval.
Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu moved and Commissioner McHugh seconded to accept the May 17, 2018 minutes as
presented.
Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Rice Rhodes -Cantu & Anderson
Nays: None
Absent: None
Motion passed.
Item #4 - Consideration and acceptance of Resolution No. 18-07 of Public Hearinq comments and approval of the
Agency's Admission & Continued Occupancy Policy Dwelling Lease Addendums and Agency Policies and take any
necessary action.
The Board asked questions regarding proposed changes to policy and the ACOP; decisions were made on preferred
wording or actual policy.
Commissioner Rice moved and Commissioner McHugh seconded to accept the Admission & Continued Occupancy
Policy, Dwelling Lease, Addendums and Agency Policies as amended.
Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Rice Rhodes -Cantu & Anderson
Nays: None
Absent: None
Motion passed
Item #5 -Consideration and acceptance of the April 2018 monthly financial statements and take any necessary
action.
The Board was provided electronic financial statements for the month of April 2018. Commissioner Rice
reviewed the financial statements and found them to be acceptable.
Commissioner Rice moved and Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu seconded to approve the April 2018
financial statements.
Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Rice, Rhodes -Cantu & Anderson
Nays: None
Absent: None
Motion passed
Item #6 - Report by the Ex Officio member of the Senior Advisory Board on the June 5 2018 meeting
Commissioner Rhodes -Cantu attended the Senior Advisory Board meeting and provided the Board with
the following update:
• There will be a dance July 28 from 5-8 pm, the REC bus will pick up folks needing a ride.
• The REC is replacing 2 new buses.
No action taken.

Commissioner Rice moved and Commissioner Anderson seconded that the meeting be adjourned.

Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 5:19 p.m.
