This letter confirms on July 3, 2018 Historic Preservation staff approved with
conditions #CA18-76 for the property addressed 404 East Wall Street, legally
described as Lot 1B & 2, Hurst, G. E. Subdivision, City of Grapevine, Texas. The
following was approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness:
1. Install a new 8' high by 140' long dog eared board beside board cedar
fence inside the west property line;
2. Install a new 6' high by 87'-6" wrought iron fence inside the south
property line; a new 6' high by 140' long wrought iron fence inside the
east property line; a new 6' high by 25' long wrought iron fence from the
east property line to the house, with an inset 3' wide by 6' high wrought
iron gate; a new 6' high by 35' long wrought iron fence from the west
property line to the house with two 11' wide by 6' high driveway gates at
the Porte Cochere;
as per the attached drawings with the condition a permit be obtained from the
Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved Building Permit
and a permit is is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817-410-3165 for information regarding permits.
