Mitchell, Director of Parks & Recreation CITY OF GRAPEVINE COUNTY OF TARRANT STATE OF TEXAS The City of Grapevine Parks & Recreation Advisory Board met June 21, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at The REC of Grapevine, 1175 Municipal Way, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present, to -wit: MEMBERS Ray Harris Joe Luccioni John Dalri Terry Musar Mark Assaad Debra Tridico Christian Ross Dave Buhr With the following member absent: Roy Robertson With the following liaison absent: Jorge Rodriguez (GCISD Board) LIAISONS Paul Slechta (City Council) Annemarie Martin (GCISD — Student) Constituting a quorum with the following members of City staff: Kevin Mitchell, Director Tony Steele, Parks Manager The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. A moment of silence was observed. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Dave Buhr and seconded by Joe Luccioni to approve the May 17, 2018 minutes. Motion passed 8-0. Ayes — Ray Harris, Joe Luccioni, John Dalri, Terry Musar, Mark Assaad, Debra Tridico, Christian Ross, and Dave Buhr. Nays— None Absent: Roy Robertson Citizen Comments No citizen comments were received. Presentation Tony Steele reported on the following: Post & cable at Oak Grove Loop, Sand Bass and Minnow Loop, bridge repair at Acorn Woods, Lakeview Park restroom, Meadowmere Park restroom, tables at The Vineyards Campground pavilion, solar light at Sand Bass, the beach at Meadowmere and the organizational flow of the Parks Division. PARD Information Items: Kevin Mitchell reported on the following: Athletics — World Series Travel Sports Capital Projects — Oak Grove Softball, Dallas Road Corridor, SH 114 Landscape Enhancements, moved bridge at The REC, 2499 landscape, & Bessie Mitchell House Lake Parks — Dove Creek Day Camp, Altitude H2O & 41h of July preparations Events — Father/Son Amazing Race & Fourth Friday Film Series Park Maintenance — reported on during the presentation Recreation — Women's self-defense class, Pleasant Glade Pool filming, Megan Varner leaving the City & The REC closure on 4th of July Volunteerism — Happy to Help Saturday Miscellaneous Board Items: Student Report — Annemarie reported on the following: Summer school, Lady Mustangs volleyball and coach. GCISD Report — none given. Adjourn Motion was made by John Dalri and seconded by Debra Tridico to adjourn the meeting at 6:39 p.m. Motion passed 8-0. Ayes — Ray Harris, Joe Luccioni, John Dalri, Terry Musar, Mark Assaad, Debra Tridico, Christian Ross, and Dave Buhr.
