1. Review of crime stats/prevention strategies and code enforcement issues in multi-
family housing and mobile home parks in the community.
2. Vision/planning session with the Council and City Manager.

The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Workshop on this the 15th day of
November, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Conference Room, Second Floor, 200
South Main Street, with the following members present to-wit:
William D. Tate Mayor
C. Shane Wilbanks Mayor Pro Tem
Sharron Spencer Council Member
Roy Stewart Council Member
Darlene Freed Co�ncil Member
Mike Lease Council Member
Chris Coy Council Member

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Tate called the workshop to order at 5:30 p.m.
ITEM 1. REVIEW CRIME STATS/PREVENTION STRATEGIES AND CODE
ENFORCEMENT ISSUES, MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING AND MOBILE HOME
PARKS
Police Chief Eddie Salame and Development Services Director Scott Williams presented
the crime and code enforcement issues in apartments and mobile home parks in
Grapevine. They presented a broad overview of the City's efforts to combat crime in these
areas and enforcement of code violations.
There was no formal action taken by the City Council.
ITEM 2. VISION/STRATEGIC DIRECTION DISCUSSION
City Manager reviewed topics of a planning nature previously provided to him by Council.
A review of topics and discussion of each took place during the workshop.
There was no formal action taken by the City Council.

ADJOURNMENT
Council Member Stewart, seconded by Council Member Coy, offered a motion to adjourn
the workshop at 7:05 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Wilbanks, Spencer, Stewart, Freed, Lease & Coy
Nays: None
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS on this the 7th day of December, 2010.
