This letter confirms on August 21, 2018 the Historic Preservation Commission staff approved
with conditions #CA18-94 for the property addressed 616 South Main Street, legally
described as Block 14, Lot N 50' S 111' 1, City of Grapevine Texas, to the Grapevine
Historic Preservation Ordinance 91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as
amended for the following items. -

1. Install painted letters with business name, in the sign band on the front of the
building above the main entrance, using 17 %2 inch high letters;
2. Install painted letters for the tag line, in the triangular pediment above the main
entrance using 10 inch high letters;
3. Remove and replace the 5 foot high by 8 foot wide Lexan panels on both sides of
the existing "grandfathered" backlit pole sign, with new tenant logo and graphics;
4. Remove existing neon border lighting from backlit sign and repair its metal case;
5. Paint sign pole and backlit box exterior black;
as per the attached plans with the conditions a sign permit is obtained from the Building
Department.
An approved Ce0ficate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit w is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
