This letter confirms on August 17, 2018 the Historic Preservation Commission staff approved
with conditions #CA18-89 for the property addressed 424 South Main Street, legally
described as Block 4, Lot N 100' 5, City of Grapevine Texas, to the Grapevine Historic
Preservation Ordinance 91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended
for the following items:
1. Install new tenant sign on front wall of building as follows: painted aluminum sign 36"
high by 72" wide over the main entrance;
as per the attached plans with the conditions a sign permit is obtained from the Building
Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit . is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
