This letter confirms on August 29, 2018 the Historic Preservation Commission staff approved
with conditions #CA18-101 for the property addressed 528 South Dooley Street, legally
described as Block: 29, Lot: 4, City of Grapevine Texas. The following was approved on this
Certificate of Appropriateness:
1. Install a new 6 feet high wood privacy fence with pickets mounted on wood rails
and supported with metal posts; all metal posts to be enclosed with wood pickets;
at the garage on the south side of the property, along the north side of the
property, and connecting to the house as indicated on plan;
2. Paint wood siding and trim in the following paint scheme:
a. Wood siding: Sherwin Williams #SW 7507 "Stone Lion";
b. Wood trim: Sherwin Williams #SW 7514 "Foothills", to be used around
windows, on the porch columns and on garage door;
as per attached plan and photos with the condition a building permit be obtained
from the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit (is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
