This letter confirms on September 14, 2018 the Historic Preservation Commission staff
approved with conditions #CA18-105 for the property addressed 428 East Wall Street,
legally described as Lot 6R, Hurst, G.E. Addition, City of Grapevine Texas. The following was
approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness. -

1. Reconstruct fireplace and chimney at living room wall on east side of house, on
the existing concrete foundation footing, using period appropriate red brick;
as per attached plans and photos with the conditions that a permit be obtained from
the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit;is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
