program guests; Future Farmers of America kick-off; the ItalianCarfest; and a Parlor

for October. Cody Jolliff added, the local Boy Scout troop had completed painting the
east and west sides of the barn
Secretary Janet Perkins reported the now due renewal notices had been mailed out and
there are currently 220 active Foundation members. David Klempin reported the $1,000
donation made at the end of August had been matched with another $1,000 from Aon
Corporation.
Managing Director of Administration & Operations Paula Newman reported the Palace
Arts Center's September 30, yearend numbers, were up 30 percent; concessions had a
14 percent increase; there were 47 events with an increase in attendance of 4,327
yielding a nine percent increase. Upcoming movie showings are Citizen Kane, Bat Man,
Psycho and Gremlins. Live performances coming up are the Chamber Music Concert

This year's holiday season kicks off with the Carol of Lights on November 19; and the
North Pole Express begins on November 23. Secretary Perkins asked if a replacement
had been found for Cheri Christensen's position; Paula explained new titles are in
development and interviewing continues.
Farm Manager Cody Jolliff announced the assignments for the Barn Dance and the Fall
Round -Up! event. He said dress for the Barn Dance would be 1950's country and after
the dinner, the tables and chairs would be cleared off the pole barn pavilion to allow for
the dance to take place under the cover of the pole barn. He said he would assure all
