This letter confirms on October 17, 2018 the Historic Preservation Commission staff
approved with conditions #CA18-115 for the property addressed 420 East College Street,
legally described as Block 23, Lot 2R1, City of Grapevine Texas. The following was approved
on this Certificate of Appropriateness:
1. Remove the existing asphalt roof shingles and replace with the following product:
GAF High Definition Lifetime Architectural Shingles in "weathered wood" color;
as per the attached specifications and photos with the conditions a permit be obtained
from the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
