The event is from 11am to 5pm and will consist of 15 wineries. Eight wineries are local to Grapevine, and the remaining seven are visiting wineries. Each winery will have a booth on the property at 205 East Worth Street. Participants will receive a souvenir wine glass with their ticket. Each winery will provide everything required to serve the customers with tastings and the purchase of bottles. Each winery is required to pull a festival permit for this event. There will be a food truck providing food for sale at the event. 7 Sisters food truck, from Dallas, will be serving and charging patrons directly from their truck. We will also have a small house band playing acoustic music as background music. There will be local craft venders to sell their products during the event. Ticket sales are limited to 500. There will be portable restrooms located on Homestead property at 211 East Worth Street for all customers and a handicap accessible restroom inside of Homestead winery. Customers will park at the local public spaces and lots around Main St., on the corner of Jenkins St. and Worth St., and the public parking area behind Homestead Winery, accessible by Texas St. Since this is a wine festival we anticipate a lot of the participants to use Uber, Lyft or a designated driver, as we have seen with our other events. We have also partnered with Residence Inn DFW Airport North/Grapevine for a discount on rooms, plus a free shuttle to and from our event. Most of the tickets will be purchased online, before the day of the event. Participants will pick up their tickets in front of Homestead Winery on Worth Street. There will be employees stationed in front by Worth St to make sure that no open containers leave Homestead Winery property. In case of an emergency, there will be access on Worth St. and Texas St. through the back gate to Homestead Winery's parking lot.
