property lines. Pole sign structural drawings must be sealed by a State of Texas Registered Professional Engineer.
Monument and Ground sign applications must include footing detail.
3. Detailed,dimensioned plans of sign showing graphics.
4. Dimensioned building elevation showing sign or signs on building. Show dimensions of height & width of tenant space
and or building.
5. Plan Review Fee,65%of the permit fee is required when permit application is submitted. Balance due upon approval.

Provide site plan showing setbacks of proposed sign and existing sign on it .
Provide drawing showing existing sign with dimensions and height of the sign.
Provide complete drawing of proposed sign with dimensions and height of new sign.
Provide engineered letter for integrity of existing foundation due to new sign structure on it.

This sign need to meet the requirements of changeable copy area, 30 percent of the gross surface area of the sign may
have changeable copy. Provide area calculation of changeable copy and gross surface area of the sign, label dimensions
of changeable copy on the sign drawing. Certificate of Occupancy is required for Fast Fuel business. Provide two hard
copies 11x17 size drawings with all information along with site plan.

someone to tell me that you were requesting all this additional information so I revised to a reface do you still need

attached to, an awning, canopy or marquee that is otherwise permitted by this Ordinance. No such sign shall project
above, below, or beyond the physical dimensions of the awning, canopy or marquee."

Can you please confirm that the city of Grapevine will not allow a sign on the fuel canopy to extend over the roof or
fascia line..I was told this back in May of 2014 for this site but now Shell is wanting something from the city stating

Tommy,
You permitted the signs on this Shell canopy for us. It originally had the 47'h inch Pectens on it and they had to
be changed out. All I can find in the job folder is an email from you to Pat Dimick in our office,just stating the
city says they can't extend above the canopy.
Now Shell is wanting documentation stating the signs cannot extend above the fascia. This was back in May of
2014. Do you have the comments from the city that I can forward to the customer so they can get the site
approved?

Thank you very much for your nice email.The freestanding/pole sign permit was applied on November 8, 2016 (not
two months ago) by Jacob Capetillo. I responded on November 10, 2016 with my comments. Response to comments
drawings submitted on November 29 2016. 1 responded to your email same day on November 29 2016. Response to this
email drawing submitted on December 8, 2016. 1 spoke to Jacob last week and told him that Certificate of Occupancy is
required for Fast Fuel business. I have not received application for Certificate of Occupancy till today. If the permit is
waiting for your response then I do not think city is making you look bad to your customer.

expired and have not been finaled.
Failure to begin work within 180 days after permit issuance or allowing 180 days
to pass between inspections will result in an expired permit. Once a permit has
expired, the permit must be reinstated and new fees paid. Permits which have

Grapevine Mills Pkwy. The plans examiner had requested additional information
to complete submittals. Your applications have expired and will need to be re-
applied for when ready to proceed with project.
On November 8. 2016 applications were submitted, approved & issued for four
