GRAPEVINE HOUSING AUTHORITY OFFICE 131 STARR PLACE, GRAPEVINE, TEXAS CALL TO ORDER CITIZENS COMMENTS REGULAR MEETING 1. REPORT OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (INFORMATIONAL ONLY) A. Rent Delinquency and Information Sheet B. Capital Funds Report and Work in Progress C. Report of Public Housing Activity and Issues through January 21, 2019 D. Quarterly Investment Report for 12/31/2018 NEW BUSINESS 2. Consideration of the minutes from the December 11, 2018 meeting and take any necessary action. 3. Consideration and acceptance of Resolution No. 19-01 approving the balance on the uncollectable accounts to be a Write-off to Collection Losses. 4. Consideration and acceptance of the November 2018 monthly financial statements and take any necessary action. IN ACCORDANCE WITH TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE, CHAPTER 551.001 et seq, ACTS OF THE 1993 TEXAS LEGISLATURE, THE SPECIAL BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POSTED ON THIS THE 21ST DAY OF JANUARY BY 4:30 P.M. ��(ir tto l -('.live Jane tett, Executive Director State of Texas County of Tarrant City of Grapevine The Board of Commissioners of the Grapevine Housing Authority held a public hearing and then met in Regular Session on this the 24th day of January 2019 in the Conference Room of the Grapevine Housing Authority, with the following members present to wit: Linda Troeger Chair Bonnie McHugh Vice -Chair Karen Rice Finance Officer Ethel Anderson Resident Commissioner Constituting a quorum, with the following also present: Duff O'Dell Jane Everett CITIZENS COMMENTS No Citizen comments. REGULAR MEETING — CALL TO ORDER City Council Liaison Executive Director Chairperson Troeger called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. Item #1 Report of the Executive Director (Informational Only) A. Rent Delinauencv and Information Sheet The Executive Director reported to the Board on the rent delinquencies, number of empty units, work orders and statistical information for the waiting list for Public Housing through January 21, 2019. B. Capital Funds Reoort and Work in Progress The Executive Director reported to the Board on the current Capital Funds and corresponding projects. C. Report of Public Housing Activity and Issues • The Executive Director explained the federal shutdown had minimal impact to the Grapevine Housing Authority. • Grapevine Housing Authority has experienced some roofs leaking; the Executive Director will touch base with the insurance company. D. Quarterly Investment Report for 12/30/2018 The Executive Director presented the Quarterly Investment Report to the Board of Commissioners. NEW BUSINESS Item #2 - Consideration of the minutes from the December 11 2018 meeting and take any necessary action The Board was provided the minutes from the December 11, 2018 meeting for approval. Commissioner McHugh moved and Commissioner Rice seconded to accept the December 11, 2018 minutes as presented. Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Rice, & Anderson Nays: None Absent: Rhodes -Cantu Motion passed Item #3 - Consideration and acceptance of Resolution No 19-01 approving the balance on the uncollectable accounts to be a Write-off to Collection Losses. The Board was presented with the 2018 accounts receivable balance owing to be written off for fiscal year 2018. The Executive Director reviewed the spreadsheet of resident uncollectable balances. Commissioner Rice moved and Commissioner McHugh seconded to adopt Resolution No. 19-01 approving the balance on the uncollectable accounts to be a Write-off to Collection Losses. Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Rice, & Anderson Nays: None Absent: Rhodes -Cantu Motion passed Item #5 - Consideration and acceptance of the November 2018 monthly financial statements and take any necessary action. The Board was provided electronic financial statements for the month of November 2018. Commissioner Rice reviewed the financial statements and found them to be acceptable. Commissioner Rice moved and Commissioner Anderson seconded to accept the November 2018 financial statements. Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Rice, & Anderson Nays: None Absent: Rhodes -Cantu Motion passed ADJOURNMENT Commissioner Rice moved and Commissioner Anderson seconded that the meeting be adjourned. Ayes: Troeger, McHugh, Rice, & Anderson Nays: None Absent: Rhodes -Cantu Motion passed Motion passed.
