This letter confirms on February 21, 2018 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA19-10 for the property addressed 311 Smith Street, legally described as
Abstract 422, Tract 62 & 62A, Dooley, William Survey, Grapevine, City of, GV to the
Grapevine Historic Preservation Ordinance 91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of
Ordinances), as amended, for the following:
1. Replace wood panel front door with a wood panel door with nine glass lites over one
wood panel;
2. Change existing paint color scheme on the exterior of the house:
a. Repaint the body and trim of the house using: Valspar #7006-24 "Ultra White";
b. Paint the new wood front door: Valspar # 4011-7 "Egyptian Blue";
3. Remove existing roof shingles and replace with IKO Cambridge Architectural
Shingles in "Dual Black" color;
as per the attached paint colors and photos with the condition a permit is obtained for the
new roof.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permitr'is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817:410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
