This letter confirms on March 8, 2019 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA19-17 for the property addressed 403 East Worth Street, legally described as
Block 34, Lot W55' of 4, City of Grapevine to the Grapevine Historic Preservation Ordinance
91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended, for the following:
1. Renovation of the existing garage building at the Historic Goad House to include the
following items:
a. Replace only the rotted wood siding on the building, with all other wood siding on
the building to remain in place;
b. Relocate the wood access door from the east wall of building to west wall of
building;
c. Install a new wider two -bay wood garage door on the east wall of the building;
d. Remove the double hung window from south wall of building and replace it with
two casement windows saved from the original house; install a projecting roof
above these pair of windows;
e. Add two new wood windows to the north side of building;
as per the attached plans and photos with the condition the submittals for the new wood
windows, the wood access door and the new wood garage door be approved on a separate
Certificate of Appropriateness and a permit be obtained from the building department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Buil
