As requested, we are providing this letter as a summary of the testing and observations performed for the
referenced project. Reports documenting the observations and testing for this project were issued soon
after work was completed.
At intervals scheduled by the contractor, Alpha Testing, Inc. representatives observed and tested the
following project elements:
• Subgrade preparation and compaction in building pad areas;
• Trench backfill and compaction for underground utilities;
• Steel reinforcing placement in drilled shaft foundations, grade beams, floor slabs and masonry walls;
• Concrete strength for drilled shaft foundations, grade beams and floor slabs;
• Grout strength for masonry walls;
• Structural steel welded and bolted connections;
Sheets S2.1 and S3.1 on the approved Structural Drawings prepared by Huckabee, Inc. dated May 17,
2017, indicate that several drilled shafts for Concessions Building B were underpenetrated. Per email
correspondence with Curtis Westbrook, P.E. of Huckabee, Inc., dated February 27, 2019, these drilled
shafts are accepted as installed.
Based on the results of our field and laboratory observations and tests, the project elements observed and
tested by Alpha were found to be in general compliance with the plans and specifications for the project.
