Alpha Testing arrived on site to perform a Visual Structural Steel Inspection for the above referenced
project. Results of the inspection are as follows:
I Column Anchor Bolt Connections - Upper Concourse Structural Framing – lines G.2 to F.1 & 1 to
11:
A. Anchor bolt connections were inspected per detail 9/S3.1 with no discrepancies found at
time of inspection. Connections were properly tensioned. Compliant.
II A325/TCA325 Beam to Beam and Beam to Column Bolted Connections - Upper Concourse
Structural Framing – lines G.2 to F.1 & 1 to 11:
A. Bolted Connections were inspected per sheet S6.8 and “Connections” general
notes 6(B) and 6(E). Per note 6(E) bolts shall be tension control bolts. Note 6(B)
references A325 type N bolts. Contractor has installed TCA325 and A325N bolts.
Connections have been tensioned to a snug tight condition. TCA325 have not been
snapped. Will require clarification from EOR on bolting requirements. Non-
Compliant.
III (8”x4”x7/16”) angle to pre-cast anchor bolt and welded connections and (5”x5”x5/16) angle to pre-
cast and beam anchors bolt and welded connections - Upper Concourse Structural Framing – lines
G.2 to F.1 & 1 to 11:
A. Connections were inspected per details 1/S3.5, 23/S3.5, 1/E11 and 5/E11 with no
discrepancies found at time of inspection. Compliant.
IV Brace Frame Welded Connections - Upper Concourse Structural Framing – lines G.2 to F.1 & 1 to
11:
A. Visually inspected the brace frame welded connections (BF-8 and BF-7) were inspected
per sheet S6.8,sheet S8.2 and detail 5/S8.2, 9/S8.2, 10/S8.2 and 11/S8.2 with no
discrepancies found at time of inspection. Compliant.
V Kicker Angle A325 Bolted Connections- Upper Concourse Structural Framing – lines G.2 to F.1 &
1 to 11:
A. Connections were inspected per details 4/E11 and 3/S7.10 with no discrepancies found at
time of inspection. Compliant.

VI Coil Bolt to Coil Insert (Pre-Cast Seating) – Bleachers – Upper Concourse Structural Framing –
lines G.2 to F.1 & 1 to 11:
A. Connections were inspected per pre-cast details 14/PC04 and 12/PC04. Coil bolt were
installed per drawings.
*Discrepancies, if any, are noted above in bold.
