This letter confirms on April 2, 2019 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with conditions
#CA19-29 for the property addressed 834 East Texas Street, legally described as Block 5, Lot
12, D. E. Box Addition, City of Grapevine to the Grapevine Historic Preservation Ordinance
91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as amended, for the following:
1. Construct a new 6 foot high wood privacy fence, with 1" x 3 '/2" cedar pickets
mounted on wood rails, supported on metal posts with an ornamental cap;
2. Install three passage gates, 3 feet wide by 6 feet wide, one at each side of house
facing the street and one along the rear property line to provide access to the rear
utility easement;
as per the attached plan and photos with the conditions metal posts are to be enclosed with
wood and a fence permit be obtained from the Building Department.
An approved Ce, icate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permitfisj is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 8 7.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
